Hello all
Dragonfish-24.04.2 running on HP ProLiant microserver gen8
Short version:
Is there a way to restore a previous “snapshot” of the apps which might exist somewhere within the TrueNAS filesystem, or is there a way to “flush” or “reset” or “restart” something to do with kubernetes or Docker or whatever it is please?
Detail:
For various reasons (which I’ll mention in a separate thread) I needed to reboot my TrueNAS box several times yesterday and today which happened with no attendant problems.
During the final reboot this afternoon, I had first removed the four hard drives (which are my NAS pool) and set them back in and ready to plug in,but, it turns out, I forgot to actually plug them properly into the backplane.
[edited an hour after posting to remove reference to AGH which I managed to fix - not a TrueNAS problem]
Upon rebooting, TN warned me and I realised my problem so I shut down, plugged in, started up and all is well apart from one TN app - Frigate - which is now having problems which were not there this morning. The other apps are working fine (MotionEye, Adguard-Home, TailScale and Jellyfin).
Frigate was working perfectly for the last several days since I moved to it in preference of the TC version, up until until this afternoon - now the app is permanently stuck at “Deploying” , then occasionally flicking into “running” for a few seconds. This is in spite of my stopping and starting it, and then uninstalling and reinstalling it. . The innards of the reinstalled app look the same as before - I took screenshots to "back up " the settings.
Is there a way to restore a previous “snapshot” of the app(s) which might exist somewhere within the TrueNAS file system, or is there a way to “flush” or “reset” or “restart” something to do with kubernetes or Docker or whatever it is that TrueNAS utilises behind the Frigate app?
I am happy to do linux CLI stuff and I am happy to experiment but I would certainly appreciate some guidance from those more knowledgeable than me (i.e. more or less everyone!).
