Downgrade from TrueNAS SCALE 25.10 to 25.04 – VM disk path question (.ix-virt renamed to data/vm/.block)

Hi, I upgraded to 25.10, and I decided to go back as I have no dedicated GPU, just a single integrated graphics which I was using for the VM in 25.04.2.6.

After the upgrade I followed the migrating VM’s instructions and renamed the .block from data/.ix-virt/*.block to data/vm/*.block.

Now, If I want to downgrade, should I rename this back again for my VM’s to work as it is?

25.04.2 supports “classic” virtualization. You could just re-create a VM the refers to the now moved zvol.

Thank you. I will do that. And is there a way to pass my only GPU to VM in 25.10?
