Hello everyone!
I have a couple of VMs that I created in 25.04.0 as instances. According to the guide from here, “.block” volumes should not be moved. The problem is that my VMs, created in the Instances period only have block volumes at the pool/.ix-virt/virtual-machines path. How can I convert these types of VMs as well? Thanks!
I’m trying to run down this issue. Can you give me a little more about the history of your VMs? Were they migrated from 24.10 into 25.04 or created natively in 25.04?
The VMs were created natively on 25.04.0 and the root disks of these VMs are now holding all my data (which, I assume, are represented by the block volumes).

The updated procedure is being published now, but basically I believe you should be good to follow the original steps and commands, just use the *.block volume instead of the custom/default_*

Hi, On top of data/.ix-virt/virtual-machines/.block I have data/.ix-virt/images/*.block, Should I also move them to data/vms/*.block?

The VMs are created natively in 25.04. Also I do not see the 56K size *.blocks
I believe the ones in /images/ are just local copies of the image used to install the VM. They can be ignored.
