Dreaded "No Applications Installed"

Hi, homelab TrueNAS Scale user here, running ElectricEel 24.10.2. I have the dreaded “No Applications Installed” error. I’ve searched around in the forum, but I’m stuck.

All my apps are from Ix. I run Plex, UniFi, Qbittorrent, Sonarr, Prowlarr, and FlareSolvarr. Four out of six apps are still reachable via their independent GUIs, one is not, and one I’m unable to verify. Two are not functioning. My main pool is an 8-wide RAIDZ2 with almost 98TB usable capacity. I’ve been running it around 80% used space. I have 512GB cache and SLOG SSDs. I am not using NVIDIA drivers.

Since I’m the only end user, I’ve been contemplating ditching the cache and SLOG and implementing an SSD apps vdev mirror.

I have one main dataset/pool (tank) with three datasets underneath: ix-applications, plex (video and music content), and Public (SMB share).

My clock is set correctly as far as I can tell. I appear to have the correct default route.

I have tried rebooting a bunch, and also unsetting the apps pool/rebooting/rechoosing the pool with no improvement.

Let me know what additional information I can provide. Not sure what to try next. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Did the issue just emerge or was this an issue after an upgrade?
Are there any useful messages in the app_lifecycle log?
I’m assuming that from the other actions you’ve taken you’ve already cleared your browser cache.

The issue just appeared out of the blue.
I find a bunch of old/new Failed ‘down’ action for xxx app messages, but nothing helpful to me.
I have indeed tried clearing the browser cache.

I gave up, and removed my cache and SLOG SSDs, and turned them into a mirror vdev, created a new pool “apps” and rebuilt those apps from scratch. We’ll see how it goes.
