Extending Pool with 3 VDEVS

I want add a disk to each vdev in a pool and want to make sure I’m doing this right before I start. Do I just extend each vdev one at a time and it will all work?

I guess I need to enable something first. I can’t seem to find a setting for this though.

Figured it out, needed to upgrade the pool first.
