I’m new to using Truenas Scale. I need to back up files from a network drive on Windows Server so I can easily restore deleted files. How can I do this? I haven’t found any documentation on how to do it. Thanks.
You need a backup software running on that Windows server writing to a share on TrueNAS so it’s not really a TrueNAS question.
Or just ditch the Windows Server and serve SMB via TrueNAS and use snapshots for recovering deleted files.
