Force install NVIDIA drivers/test for video card detection

I swapped my NVIDIA 4080 Super for my Intel ARC Eco video card in my 25.10 machine, and the 4080 doesn’t seem to be detected at all (nothing’s showing up with lspci | grep vga). I assumed I’d have an option to install the NVIDIA drivers in Apps > Settings > Install NVIDIA Drivers per the docs, but there no option visible there to do so.

Am I correct to assume that I should at least see something about the card in startup if the system was recognizing it, correct? I know the card is functional as I’ve been using it in another machine. The only NVIDIA related thing I see in dmesg is:

[ 133.556048] audit: type=1400 audit(1774761394.907:6): apparmor="STATUS" operation="profile_load" profile="unconfined" name="nvidia_modprobe" pid=4672 comm="apparmor_parser"
[ 133.556053] audit: type=1400 audit(1774761394.907:7): apparmor="STATUS" operation="profile_load" profile="unconfined" name="nvidia_modprobe//kmod" pid=4672 comm="apparmor_parser"

Does the “Install NVIDIA Drivers” option only show up if an NVIDIA card is detected? Is there a way to manually force the install of the drivers?

I believe so
