GPU keeping TRUENAS from starting

Hey All!

Have quite an odd problem I am trying to diagnose. I have had a NVIDIA P400 installed in my server for a few years with no problem. I tried to switch it out with a NVIDIA A2. However, when I do so, the OS never loads. I am not sure why. The led indicators on my server do not indicate a problem. However, I cannot even ping my machine, let alone enter the web portal.

In switching out GPUs, I also do not have a display output so I do not have any visuals to go off of. My first thought was power draw, however, at boot with the A2 installed, the system pulls ~100W, which is far below the 250W power supply. The only other main issue I could think of is that my server accepts 3.0x8 PCIe and the A2 is 4.0x8. However, my understanding is that this would just slow my speed and has nothing to do with the OS actually loading. Worst case, I would have expected that if the drivers were not installed then I would maybe not see the new GPU via lspci. Not that the OS would not boot altogether.

Any guesses as to what the cause may be? My next course of action is to switch back to the P400 and look into the BIOS to see if there are any hints there.
