I’ve recently created a Truenas V24.10.1 server out of an HP z220 CMT PC:
Processors : Intel I7 3770
Ram : 16 gb DDR3
Motherboard : 655842-001
Storage: x3 8TB Ironwolf Pro and x3 WD 8tb HUS728T8TALN6L4 and 1x kingston 250gb ssd for os
HBA IT Mode LSI 9211-8i
GPU Intel arc A310
PSU Seasonic g-550
NIC Axagon PCEE - G25 2.5gb
My last upgrade was the intel arc a310 GPU that I needed for plex transcoding. When I plug the GPU in the x16 slot my HBA is not booting anymore, the heartbeat light its on, but truenas is not recognizing the HBA.
I’ve tried switching around the GPU to the other x16 (x4 used) where my GPU was still working but HBA not.
The max direct lanes for my CPU I’ve seen that is 16 and for the C216 panther is 8 so normally I should have enough bandwidth.
I’ve reached the end of google looking for a solution, but I still can’t understand where is the issue.
