Had to reboot my server once i did upon login i didn't have any of my apps

Hello, i just had to reboot my server and once it was done rebooting i logged into my account on the server and went to the apps and no more apps there just a red x saying there’s an error

in app services, plus at the top of the apps section is has this ‘‘Failed to configure docker for Applications: Unable to determine default interface’’.

i only had 2 apps installed and never had an issue until now. what is happening please help me.

Also this is the version i am on currently of truenas scale 26.0.0-BETA.1 I don’t know why it is beta i installed the release candidate

Thanks

What version of TrueNAS did you download and install? It can only change if you do an update. If you don’t want to be worrying about Beta, you should install TrueNAS 25.10.3.1 or go to the boot environment page, select that version if you have it and make it the Active one. Reboot and make sure you are marked for the General Availability train in the Updates section of the GUI.

Are your pools listed as healthy in the TrueNAS GUI? We would need more info on what is happening on your system. We can only go off what you post to the forum.

I changed the NVIDIA drivers from enabled to disabled then enabled and my apps went down hard.

NVIDIA turning into VGA composite device every VM reboot as well.

On the beta

No, you didn’t.
There hasn’t been any Release Candidate for TrueNAS 26.
Instead, you installed an early beta.

I recommend you revert if you can using the built-in functionality to do so available in the System → Boot menu.

In the shell are you able to successfully pin the following?

ping google.com

ping github.com

If so, go to apps, refresh the catalogue, then unset & set your apps pool.

i was able to ping both and refresh the apps catalogue, i then tried to install an app and then got an error saying that the docker service isn’t running i tried to restart it but wasn’t able to. This issue us really strange, here is the error i got when trying to install an app below if you can help me fix this..

Try resetting the apps pool. Apps tab, then:

Then go back to the same place & choose the pool that should be hosting the apps.
