Having Trouble with Export/Disconnect - Gettting "[EFAULT] pool is busy"

Hello,

I’m a newbie to TrueNAS and to home servers in general. I setup TrueNAS for a home media server but didn’t like how I setup the file system and wanted to start fresh. I used the Export/Disconnect option to delete all the data from the storage pool. But when I first did it I got the following error, “[EFAULT] pool is busy” I did some research and it mentioned that something must be running so I proceeded to delete all the datasets in the pool, but not all of them would delete. There are a few that when I tried deleting them it gives the the CallError “[EBUSY] Failed to delete dataset: cannot destroy ‘Media_NAS/new-media’: dataset is busy:

I just wanna completely wipe the pool. I don’t need to save any data from it. I’ve tried restarting the server but I’m still getting the same issues. I’ve tried other suggestions from other threads but none seem to help. Any advice would be appreciated.

Like I said, I’m new at this so please ask me for any information you need.

I’m running OS Version:25.10.2.1

If you mean start fresh as in wipe out all settings, just do a fresh install of TrueNAS over your current version and do not import a configuration backup. Start will deleting and destroying any pools that get imported by the base an start all over.
