[HELP] Immich and Jellyfin no longer working after rolling back ixapps folder to an older snapshot

Please let me know if there is a better place to post this but I tried posting to this Github with no avail. Please refer to this page for everything I have tried so far. Please help! I was having issues with Immich was not uploading new photos from my backup from my phone. So I had to update to a new version but it wouldn’t let me because the file structure was different (Different folders for thumbs, uploads, etc. vs. now its all under user data). Note: I was using the ixsystems created folder structure not my own. So I deleted the immich image I was using and not the data. Then installed the latest update and created my own userdata folder. But when I updated none of my old data would show up. So I tried rolling back to an older snapshot of my ixapps folder but now my immich or jellyfin wont work at all. I am getting a Failed ‘down’ action notification when trying to launch these apps.

I don’t suppose those apps are accessing the data via an SMB share?

Did you check the logfile

sudo cat /var/log/app_lifecycle.log

if it shows any additional information?

Hello Trevor68,

Jellyfin pulls the Movies, TV, and Music pull from SMB. Immich does not pull from SMB.

according to the logs immich and jellyfin fail to remove their default networks, so my first step would be to stop the apps if they’re stuck in deploying, manually remove the ix-immich_default and ix-jellyfin_default networks and then try to deploy them again again (maybe just try with one before doing it for both).
Edit: And jellyfin has a permission error mounting an external smb share?

I can’t help with the apps but I can say that if you do get Jellyfin going, it will behave bizarrely as the media files keep disappearing due to a known SMB bug. Presuming your on Truenas 25.10 ?

How do I remove the default networks as you mention? What is the command that I need

you can try from shell with docker network rm networkname

I am using 24.10.2.4, I was using 24.10.2.2 when the issue first occurred

I apologize I am a real novice at this. How do I determine the docker network name?

I also pulled a new up to date app_lifecycle.log for reference.

but in your case the names should be

You probably have to run those commands with root permissions so try with sudo in front of the commands

I did run them with sudo in front on the second attempts below the first two. Still got an error
