Help needed - SMB share works as expected in Windows 10/11 but is read-only on Windows 2019 Server

Running TrueNAS-13.0-U6.2 on a Dell PowerEdge R350 server. On-Prem Active Directory is set up, and the shares are using AD as well as local credentials.

Everything is working as expected on my Windows 11 Pro workstation. I open the folder with \servername\sharename and my access is as it should be, according to my AD credentials.

However, when I use the exact same AD credentials on our backup server, which is running Windows 2019 Server on a Dell PowerEdge R430, the shares are all read-only. It doesn’t matter which credentials I use - it’s always read-only or blocked.

I am able to explicitly add the account to the ACL from Windows, which is really odd, considering I can’t copy any files to the folder.

I’m kind of new to TrueNAS, so I don’t know what debug or log information to look at, so please let me know where to find what is needed to help t-shoot this.

Thanks in advance!

Additional info: When I look at the Properties on the share, from the Windows 2019 Server, it has the Read-only attribute set. If I try to unset it, Access is denied.

When I do the same sequence from my Windows 11 computer, the attribute is set, but I am allowed to unset it. However, there is no actual effect. The Windows Server still can’t write data to the share.

I ran the same tests on a couple of other servers (physical, not virtual), and they are all working as expected. I’ll mark this as resolved, since it seems to be a problem strictly with this one server.
