I have a strange problem with Homarr. It seems to not be willing to deploy.
it installs just fine but i gets stuck in the Deploy fase.

Hi, Homarr developer here. Please see bug: TrueNAS App takes ~15 minutes to start after update · Issue #2190 · homarr-labs/homarr · GitHub. This is a known issue with no workaround so far. Just wait long enough and it will eventually deploy.
We haven’t been able to reproduce it and we’re hoping to fix this soon. Cheers

Yes, see the above linked GitHub issue. We couldn’t figure out why the permission change takes so long. Happy to accept contributions or help from the maintainers of the app templates.
In all other environments we have tested so far, it took less than 10 seconds, which is acceptable.
Ran across the same thing last week. Generally, Scale nearly instantly spawns apps. But this one is a little, uh, Gumpy and takes a very long time to finally come up…logs just say setting perms and eventually it does come up with no errors.

im also having this problem. New TrueNAS install 25.04.01.
Using HDDs… i read about similar problems that this problem occurs with HDDs, not SSD - i couldnt test Homarr on SSDs.

I’m guessing you just waited it out too? Like I said, it’s gumpy, but it comes up eventually. However, when I had my problem with it, it was running under proxmox and all the storage is nvme on that box, so I don’t think we can blame drive types as those were Virtio over nvme.
