I’m working on creating an API client for the Websocket API with idiomatic Go, primarily using code generation. However, I’ve found some pretty material differences between what the docs say should be returned and what is actually returned.
I’d thought that Jira was the place but now I’m not so sure. When I try to create an issue, the dialog just spins trying to load components. I thought to myself that maybe I needed to login first. I created an Atlassian account and when I attempted to create an issue it told me I was not authorized.
Can you be a little more specific about which documentation you’re having an issue with? If you’re referring to something on one of the TrueNAS documentation sites then the Feedback button is the place to go, but if you’re talking about the API docs themselves, a NAS ticket would be better.
Jira can be frustratingly picky for new users sometimes. After logging in, try a hard refresh to make sure there are no cache issues. Also you may be attempting to make an issue type that you don’t have access to. Try creating the issue as a bug rather than, for example, a defect. If all else fails you can use the smiley face Submit Feedback button in the TrueNAS UI to send a bug report.
