Hi, we see that audit supports SMB and NFS services on the “https://www.truenas.com/docs/scale/25.04/scaletutorials/systemsettings/auditingscale/” page, but we couldn’t find related configurations in the Truenas Scale 25.04 web UI. Additionally, the “https://www.truenas.com/docs/scale/25.04/scaleuireference/shares/nfssharesscreens/” page does not provide configuration guidance. Therefore, does Truenas support configuring audit for NFS services? thanks
No. It does not support it (NFS auditing). I have raised an issue with our documentation team. NFS auditing is planned future work and so they might have gotten ahead of themselves.
