Immich gives [EFAULT] Failed ‘up’ action for ‘immich’ app, please check /var/log/app_lifecycle.log when updating to postgres 18

So I tried to upgrade the database from 15 to 18. But get: [EFAULT] Failed ‘up’ action for ‘immich’ app, please check /var/log/app_lifecycle.log.

Selecting the 15 still works.
I tried:

  1. changing ixsystems/postgres-upgrade tag to 1.1.11 in the /mnt/.ix-apps/app_configs/immich/versions/1.13.6/ix_values.yaml
  2. changing the chown to 999:999 and chmod to 700 on the pgData with -R and checked that in truenas automatic permissions are set

You want to check with the immich folks and search immich github for signatures. could be any of these

See if any of the suggestions in Immich App Update to 2.6.0 fails with Postress Error or Immich App Fails Postgres 18 Update get it working for you?
