I have the following datasets and I try to add the synology_backup dataset as an external library to the mountpoint /immich/external-libraries.
I am using immich v2.0.0 and TrueNAS 25.10 RC1.

However adding /mnt/zfs_tank/immich/external-libraries/ does not validate the path.
Solved it. It was a permission issue …
may i ask how and where you changed permissions in order to make it work? i have the exact same problem
The pgData dataset must have netdata permissions.
I now use iX volumes for my datasets.
i made it work by giving User-apps ACL permission recursively and to child datasets to the smb share
