I currently have a Jonsbo N1 build with 5 SATA drives and TrueNAS Scale on an NVME drive along with an Optane drive for cache. I just ordered parts for my 2nd build which will be a Jonsbo N3 case with a CW-AT-10G-8P motherboard which gives me 8 SATA drives, 2 NVME drives and an M2 slot that I could use an SSD for TrueNAS if needed. I primarily use it for storing music and media files and it stays on all the time so I decided to go with an energy efficient N355 processor. I am looking for advice on configuring the 8 drives and whether to load TrueNAS from the M2 slot instead of the NVME slots and use those for cache. I do not have cache drives yet so any advice on what to use there would be great too.
