I recently ran into the same issue discussed by @mfpck here:
Snapshot access (.zfs) via SMB for Mac users (Finder)?
Since macOS has no native equivalent to Windows “Previous Versions” for SMB shadow copies, I put together a small Finder Quick Action that browses .zfs/snapshot, detects actual file versions and lets you restore a selected version to Downloads.
The source file and the ZFS snapshots remain untouched.
No Xcode, Homebrew or additional software required.
v0.9 preview, currently tested with macOS Sequoia 15.7.2 and TrueNAS CORE 13.0-U6.8, both locally and over WireGuard.

For transparency: the v0.9 code was developed interactively with ChatGPT and then tested and adapted against my actual TrueNAS setup.
