I’m using TrueNAS Scale 25.04.2.4 and a while back my Windows 11 Memeo Backup Premium stopped working (sometime after 14th May 2025).
Memeo throws an exception when trying to reactivate a backup plan (from the TrueNAS share). I also get an exception when trying to create a new backup plan - but I can create a new backup plan on an old D-Link DNS-323 so it looks like something has changed with TrueNAS but I never change TrueNAS settings.
Are there any recent changes to TrueNAS that would affect the access rights on my “Memeo” user or group? The application appears to be able to read the configuration from the TrueNAS share but perhaps can’t update or create a file?
I can browse all of the backup folders on my mounted TrueNAS share in Windows 11 and create/edit files in the TrueNAS share.
Memeo support are recommending I uninstall and reinstall the latest version of their product - I’m reluctant to do this when it was previously working and it sounds a little bit like “try turning it off and on again”
