Need help to determine why Pools/Datasets/Shares suddenly went missing

Running TrueNAS SCALE version ElectricEel-24.10.2.4

All seemed to be working until today. WebUI now shows no Pool, Datasets, or Shares. When attempting to import a pool, there are no options available. I’ve restarted the NAS, reinserted the drives, no dice. My 4TB WD Reds were in RAID 1 configuration (I think). I had taken snapshots but not sure that is of help at this point.

Ran commands “sudo zpool status -v” , “sudo zpool import” , & “sudo zpool list”:

It does not seem to recognize my 4x 4TB WD Reds. What should be my next step.

Specs:
Aoostar WTR Pro
Intel N 100 CPU
16GB RAM
512GB Storage
4x 4TB WD RED

Do you see the missing disks listed in the GUI of TrueNAS? Storage then Disks button?

I only see the boot disk, my 512GB SSD.

I think you have to see how the hard drives are attached inside the case or contact Aoostar for diag. All four disks not showing means not physically or electrically attached. I don’t know if you can boot to a BIOS and see if it sees the disks there or not.

If something did happen to the connection, we may be able to load the four data disks in a different computer, do a fresh install on a new boot disk and import the system configuration or the pool. I don’t know if there was any hardware RAID involved, which would be bad. ZFS needs direct access to the hard drives without any form of Hardware RAID interfering.

I figured it might be an issue with the hard drives connecting. I was able to boot into the bios earlier but I did not check for drives. I’ll do that and come back. There should not be any hardware RAID involved. It was all done via TrueNAS software.
