Hello all After several mishaps that caused me to rebuild my trunas scale vm on proxmox.
I’m ashamed to admit this however i cannot see the trunas server in windows network neighbourhood on any of the win10 or win 11 pcs.
I can map the drives by using \truenas and i can map each share.
I activated samba service and added each folder to the service
all my datasets have POSIX permission with ne as default user and root as default group
the service shows this

in the service config
i have enable smb and NTLMV1 both ticked and noting in netbios alias
my workgroup
in th edit smb all datasets have Multi-protocol (NFSv4/SMB) shares selected
I have update my windows credentials to me and my login password
and i did all the cmd line instructions to reboot my network devices
network sharing is on
I do not know what else to do
what did i miss?
