Nextcloud update from 31.0.2_1.6.19 to 31.0.4_1.6.23 fails

I regularly update this standard nextcloud app with no issues.

This is a new problem:

Clicked “Update” for the nextcloud app and got this error. I’ve tried a few different times over the past week to see if it might change with a later version number, but still there:

I’m running SCALE ElectricEel-24.10.2.1

I have the same issue, it looks like other app are affected, I see a thread talking about the exact same issue with Emby. Some people were talking about a fix being deployed, what is the status?

Ok, after searching longer, this is due to a compatibility breaking update. Updating the OS to the latest 24.0.2.2 should allow to update app again, then it’s intended to do the transition to 25 and app will migrate to a new IP settings or something, not sure to understand the details.

try checking the GPU box in the app settings. that worked for me.

I had nothing to do with GPU for me. They really broke something with the latest update, then they rollback to keep some compatiblity. So I did update all app to latest version, update to latest Electric Eel 24.10, then update to 25 Fangtooth. Then I had issue with Jellyfin (hosted path need ACL now, see another topic about it), but Nextcloud works fine.
