I’m using TrueNAS CE 25.04.2.6. How do I - has anyone managed to - enable “project” mode in the community node-red (NR) app?
I installed the community train node-red ages ago and the app updates fine and it runs and the flows are all working but the project option isn’t visible, even though versions later than 0.18 should show it.
App Version: v4.1.2-18
Version: v1.3.5
This NR URL shows me what to do but it is already present in my installation i.e.
which is taken from /mnt/.ix-apps/app_mounts/node-red/data/settings.js
I have also tried an environment variable “NODE_RED_ENABLE_PROJECTS” “true” entered into the TN app edit window and in the NR UI itself under one of the settings menu areas - neither of which worked.
I have been into the container terminal and confirmed that git and ssh-keygen are present.
A few internet searches and AI assistance haven’t given me any further clues so can anyone help please?
