Not connecting after restarting computer not nas

After restarting my computer, not the nas, it will not reconnect.

That is unfortunate.

Don’t you just hate it when that happens?

anyone know how i can fix it

Pretend you’re one of us, potentially across the world. We don’t know you, we don’t know your setup, we don’t know what “not connecting” means.

There are some very helpful people here, but you will need to give more information on what the problem is in order for someone to help.

Ok so in file explore has it as as xed out to the nas.
Clicking on it says and error occurred while reconnection. The local device name is already in use.

system
ryzen 5 5600x
Asus b 450II motherboard
32 gb ram 3200
1tb nvme boot drive
12tb ddd

Oh, you have a Windows problem, not a TrueNAS one. I’m assuming you have Windows because the error sounds like a Windows error, not because you told us any information about the OS you’re using, its version, whether it’s SMB, etc…

If it’s Windows, try opening PowerShell and running:

net use X: /delete

Don’t forget to replace X with whatever drive letter you mapped it to, if you mapped it.
