I’ve been playing with NVMe over TCP with the latest Goldeneye beta for TrueNAS and can’t for the life of me get it to work. I’m using ESXi 8. I create all the subsystems correctly, Zvol namespace added etc. In ESXi I add the controller, it discovers it correctly - but in the “Paths” area it shows as “Dead”. Unable to see the actual device I’m sharing out. It looks like this is halfway there, but failing at some point during the process. I did some Googling and discovered something about nvmet for Linux not supported the “Fused” commands for NVMe, which supposedly ESXi requires for NVMe over TCP? Anyone else gotten this to work? Does it work fine for you in Proxmox?
