Permission of child and parent dataset

I’m trying to set up permission so that
Root data set
Media person 1 has access
person 1 person 1 has access
person 2 person 1 and 2 has access

i’ve tried going through the guide in here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjLaK8yQAag and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59NGNZ0kO04
to set up permission so that:
group admin has person 1
group sub has person 1 and person 2

And put the permission of group admin and person 1 to “media” and “person 1” and group sub and person 2 to “person 2”
and then in the sharing SMB, shared the “media” folder

But whether I login from person 2 or person 1 on my machine i see every folder.

And i noticed both users kept getting added to both groups because person 2’s auxuilary group had person 1’s group

You are going to have to post screenshots or do a lot better at explaining the datasets, folders, users, etc.
