Permissions issue: cannot open app_lifecycle.log: Permission denied

Hi: I’m running 24.10.2, nested inside a proxmox vm. I’m having trouble installing most apps through the catalog. The notable exception is Dockge, which installed without issue.

I cannot troubleshoot by viewing the app_lifecycle.log due to a permissions issue. I’m attempting to access it with my original admin login account.

Anyone have an idea what it might be?

Put sudo infront of the command.

Thanks! I’m a bonehead sometimes.

It turns out that I only allocated 1 cpu to the TN VM. So when I tried to install any apps which specified the cput count, it errored. It makes sense, I just didn’t think that the nested virtualization service(s) would catch that.
