Looking for some help on this one so I dont end up locking myself out. I orignally setup a QNAP TS-1273AU-RP with a bonded network, since it has 2x 2.5gb network cards. I recently upgraded part of my network to 10gb which included adding in a 10gb card into the QNAP.
The bond and the new 10gb card are working, but I want to remove the bond and the static IP from the onboard NIC’s and then use static on the 10gb NIC. Again all is working right now but I know there are parts of TrueNas where I cant assign things to the 10gb NIC since it is not static. I figured removing the bond would allow me to assign static to the 10gb.
I have tried to remove the bond, and tested within the UI which looks to work but never applies properly. I even unplugged the ethernet from the bonded cards but then nothing is reachable on the IP of the 10gb card. I have assigned services to work on the 10gb NIC where it allowed, but still does not seem to be working.
Long story short, how do I undo the bond on the 2 cards and/or disable them so everything is going over the 10gb which I can assign a static IP to.
I am sure I am doing something here to mess things up, or just missing something obvious but any help would be great!
