I just installed Truenas Scale 25.10.1 Goldeneye and booted. I am trying to import my previous pools. however Truenas is stuck on import. Also in the background disk import task is running at 0.00% for 3 days. System is locked, I can’t do anything and nothing seems to be moving. Any ideas?
You don’t even have access on the console? Guess is the drives or controller dropped off. Going off your previous posts and what I think you have for hardware.
You can try a reboot and see if all the disks and controllers are online and healthy. Are all your normal pools showing, etc.
So I rebooted and the system is stuck running Pool.dataset.sync_db_keys , 0.00% and Pool.import_on_boot, 0.00% System is locked and won”t let me do anything. All pages show zero information.
Do you have a downloaded system configuration from before you tried to do the pool import? It might be a new install and upload the configuration time.
I am hoping others post as I don’t what you could try if it is locking up right away.
I do have an older one, I’ll give it a try.
Well, I figured it out. First I turned off the Jbod and updated the system to 25.10.3
- Once running I turned on the Jbod again. Once up I removed any drives not showing in the system. And boom, all systems go! Thanks for your help! Hope this helps someone else.
