Hi everyone,
My friends and I are building a NAS together. We’re currently discussing how we want to structure the storage. Should we create a single RAID over all the disks and then split the storage space, or should each of us create a RAID using only our own disks, so that everyone stores their data on their own drives?

Assuming they’re appropriately sized, that’s what I’d do. Individual datasets for each of you with quotas if desired.
