Slow browsing SMB share from OS X

It happens randomly when browsing SMB share from OS X (15.1 - also older versions) that Finder just stuck for almost a minute. When browsing from Windows computer at the same time, it works flawlessly so I assume server / network is OK. Server has 64gb ram / Intel 8700K processor. Accessing via 10gbe or Thunderbolt. I would appreciate any help as I am loosing my mind :frowning: Truenas Scale version 24.10.0.2. Also trying to modify “Auxiliary Parameters” but there is no such thing in my SMB config screen.

How many files are in the directory? You can turn off support for ds stores on the volume (client-side change).

Thank you for your suggestion. I have already tried this, but unfortunately, it did not resolve the issue. The root folder contains approximately 3,700 folders and 42 files, and the problem persists even when I navigate into one of these folders. :frowning:

Awalkerix, after few days of happy faster browsing I must admit that your solution did help. It seems that just log out and re-login did not help, but after restart your solution works. I thank you very much!

Sorry. I forgot to mention that requirement.
