I have TrueNas Community Edition 25.04.2.6 running on Intel X86.
I have a few apps installed, and SMB sharing set up. The installed apps (Jellyfin, Immich…) use the SMB shares and I can connect via Windows. It’s working great.
The problem: today I installed the Audiobookshelf app. In the config I added a new dataset - /mnt/storage/media/audiobooks. /mnt/storage/media already existed, and contains subdirectories I can use from within Windows.
I can see ../audiobooks from Windows, but it’s read only, unlike the other directories.
I’m sure it’s a basic config error on my part, but can I get some help with file access for Windows on the new directory?
I haven’t done any of this since Y2K, and boy do I feel rusty.
