Smb sessions expiry leads to network path not found?

I am struggling with an issue here

I have shares on local pc’s which i can always access and never get (location not found error)

However truenas will always show this after inactivity. Clicking the network folder for truenas for a few times will open it after showing the same error a bunch of times.

Is this being caused by sessions timing out? How do I make it so it does not time out?

If this is being caused by something else, what can it be?

I am on community edition 25.04.2.4

Was it working ok? If it was, what changed? Did you update Truenas?

I’d check your windows credentials first, maybe delete and readd them.
