Any new VMs I create the display buttons simply forward to the TrueNAS login screen and then the dashboard. Things I have tried for resolving:
- Cleared cache
- Different browser
- Re-organized device order
- Deleted and re-created display device
- Changed port manually (x5)
- Cloned a working VM
- Connecting manually via [IP ADDRESS]/vm/display/[ID]/spice_auto.html?path=vm%2Fdisplay%2F[ID]%2F&autoconnect=1
Nothing works. I’d try VirtViewer if I could get it to install and open.
The only factor I can find that is different between the old VMs and the new ones is that their device IDs have reached 3 digits.
System is a bit dated at 24.04.1 - I’d be willing to upgrade if it would resolve this issue but newer versions have an install bug on my system (unless that too has been resolved) so would prefer not to.
Is there a way to reset or edit device IDs? Some other way of fixing this?
