I’m trying to switch from xigmanas to Truenas Scale. I’m exporting a pool to xigmanas. After installing Truenas Scale, I import the pool through the GUI. At the same time, for some reason, an additional directory (mnt) is added, something like /mnt/mnt/raid instead of /mnt/raid. Because of this, I cannot specify a network folder in the GUI, an error is returned. If I import the same pool via the command line, then it is not visible in the GUI. I’m asking for help
someone had the exact same problem a few days ago. Here’s the post with the solution.
For whateve reason, truenas adds the wrong mountpoint to pools that were not created by truenas, but any other system that can use zfs.
Unfortunately, none of the methods worked for me.
An easy way to import sudo zpool is to use altroot=/mnt POOL NAME. My pool is not shown in the GUI and disappears after a reboot.
The sudo zfs set mountpoint=/mnt/pool name pool name command does not help.
I’m asking for help. ElectricEel version-24.10.2.1.
