I’ve been having this problem since I built my TrueNAS server. I’m using Jellyfin, and every time I use it on my phone or TV, it always quits the player 10 to 20 minutes into a movie. But nothing happens when I’m watching it on my browser on my PC, which is connected to the same network switch as the NAS. But everything else in my house is affected by it. I’m on the TrueNAS forums about this because I’ve been getting large packet drops. I try pinging a website or “1.1.1.1” and it just gives me around 60 to 70% packet loss most of the time. But it doesn’t happen on my PC, which runs fine. I’ve tried changing the network cable, the network port on the switch, and even replacing the network interface card (NIC) on my server, but it doesn’t seem to fix the problem. Something may be running too hot, considering I don’t have that many fans in my server right now,w but I just want to know what the main culprit is. Where in the system can I go to check or see what the actual reason of why it keeps cutting out?
