Can anyone please assist me with definitive information/instructions on how to edit individual App configurations to add alternative source repositories or mirror sites on TrueNAS Scale 25.04 please? Github access is simply not robust enough to support reliable updates due to my location in SE Asia. Previously I had raised a ticket about this through TrueNAS but received the short reply that basically I was stuck due to my location. I had hoped that the newer Scale version (25.04) would help but so far not. I have since learned that there are some local sites that mirror the related Github content so I would like to try that but I cannot see where to edit that data from within the App. I am guessing I will need to dive deeper but I am reluctant to do that without some guidance first. Failing that is there maybe a manual way of downloading App update files and loading them in locally? That may be an option, and for others like me who experience the same issue.
The true root problem is internet/network integrity as was discussed within the ticket context. But there is little I can do to improve that. Apps will appear to update as required, but then consistently fail to redeploy after update. For example mine all began to update about 5 days ago and as I type two are still failing. I constantly have to manual ask them to redeploy. More than a little frustrating to say the least. I only have 8 apps in use; all from the Radarr, Sonarr stable which I want to use for the same purpose as I did with FreeNAS and Flexget many years ago. But when they are hung up during update they become inoperable.
Really appreciate any guidance or instructions. Thanks.
