Truenas won't connect or boot

I had a working Truenas system. Updated to I think 25.10. Would not boot. I reinstalled truenas, restored system .tar and now it won’t boot at all. I thought it may have changed the ip address.

Finally connected a monitor to it and I had the ip correct but still won’t boot with admin user and PW. I am stumped. If nothing pops up here I will reinstall truenas again, recreate the datasets and restore the data, I have most of it. I don’t claim to know what I am doing as I am new at this, and I built it mainly for fun.

Thanks for any help.

To be clear, you say it won’t boot, but it sounds like you get to a login screen of some sort.
So is the issue more that you can’t login, rather than that the server doesn’t boot?

When you attach a monitor+keyboard to the server, do you get to the Console Setup-screen? That screen should also list the server’s current IP, if any.
