TypeError("'NoneType' object is not subscriptable") when switching to General release train

My TrueNAS 25.10.3 is set to the “Early Updater” update profile. That wants to upgrade me to 26.0.0-BETA1, which feels risky. I changed the update profile to “General” but I now get this error:

Current version:

25.10.3

TypeError(“‘NoneType’ object is not subscriptable”)

I’m not sure if this will prevent future updates from being applied?

Do a Reboot and the issue should go away.

Nope it won’t go a way, it’s a display bug because there is no newer version tagged as general that could be displayed there. It will be fixed in truenas 26 as far as i understood it form another post.
Instead of TypeError(“‘NoneType’ object is not subscriptable”) it should display “no update available”

A reboot did the trick actually. :slight_smile: It now says “System is up to date!”.
