First, please don’t post links to image-sharing sites–you can just paste the image into your post.

Second, plugins are dead. They’ve been deprecated for a long time, and will be removed completely in the near future. If you need a plugin-like experience, recommend you use SCALE instead, though it has its own issues.

Second issue is the 13.2 is EOL at this point. I hope CORE 13.3 gets released soon.

RC1 in September

So it will be released just in time for 13.3 to be EOL.

There is a little trick to be able to install the plugins, you must edit the plugin you need and tell it to use release 3.13, also make sure that the repository exists since there are some plugins that no longer exist and will show you an error, after this save the .json and execute:

iocage fetch -P /path/to/local/file.json

READY!! So I have installed several plugins

Congratulations, you’ve been able to make a dead-end technology work for a few more months.

I wouldn’t say it’s a dead end technology. iocage and it’s “plugin” functionality works just fine. It’s the GUI implementation that is dead.

Plugins on TrueNAS CORE are a dead-end technology. I’m suspecting that apps on SCALE are too (I expect they’re going to go away in favor of “paste in whatever Compose file you like”), but that’s another discussion (and also farther out).
