Unable to reassign VLAN to different physical interface

I’m using SCALE DragonFish (24.04.2.1), and I am trying to remove a 2-port SFP+ card (x710-DA2) that currently has some VLANs assigned to one of its adapters (I will be putting another card in that slot).

In order to do this, I will need to temporarily reassign VLANs that are on one of the adapters on this card, but I am unable to do so as the option to change the physical interface for the VLANs is grayed out, even when the VLAN is not being used for anything at least that I’m aware of.

For example, one of the VLANs was solely being used as a member of a bridge. I took that VLAN off the bridge so it was no longer a member, and I still cannot reassign it to another physical interface.

Does anyone have any tips on how I can troubleshoot this and figure out why I cannot reassign a VLAN to a different physical interface? Frankly, the setup is slightly complicated, so there’s an outside chance that I could have missed something that the VLAN is being used for. However, I went through all 7 virtual machines, and looked at each NIC device, and could not find any that uses the problematic VLAN that I am unable to reassign.

Apparently this is impossible, at least according to this thread: Reddit - Dive into anything.

The VLAN must be deleted and then recreated on the new parent interface. So, I will purse that approach.
