Update Downloads Failing

I have sketchy internet…

When I attempt to download the lastest update file (1.54GB) from the dashboard it inevitably fails at 25% or so.

I sure would like to see the download progress saved and restarted when it fails instead of restarting at 0%. It would save your bandwith and mine!

I don’t want to resort to a reload from ISO every time I want to upgrade.

You can try to update via manual update file
You can download the file here
https://download.sys.truenas.net/TrueNAS-SCALE-Fangtooth-RC/25.04-RC.1/TrueNAS-SCALE-25.04-RC.1.update

When you click on the update button in the gui, there should be an option to provide the update file.

Thanks for the info. I am on the beta chain so I think going to RC.1 would be going backwards (?). Is there a beta update file link?

I see the link for the complete ISO file but does that work as an “update” file also? If so, I can utilize a download manager that would do what I need.

This is still a feature request to get downloads to work better from the dashboard!
