Updates just appeared for everything

All my apps are suddenly asking to update, even if the underlying software is already up to date. Is there a change in how the deployments are being done or something?

This is more like a metadata mismatch. Here the system thinks the application versions have changed even though the images haven’t. Try refreshing the catalog or redeploying often clears this up.

Truenas apps have 2 version numbers, one for the version of the truenas apps framework and one for the version of the app, e.g. plex, jellyfin etc.
All apps showing an update when the app version is up to date can just mean, that the iX apps maintainer changed something on the apps framework, think an additional config option for all apps during the setup (e.g. option for environment variables got added, stuff like that).

Exactly: https://apps.truenas.com/managing-apps/discovering-apps/#understanding-versions

I know that. But all having a change to deployment config within 12 hours seemed strange. Refreshing catalogue didn’t change anything. I’ll try redeployment.

All apps use the same framework, why would it be strange that all show an update if something was changed on the framework?

Was something changed on the framework?

Edit: A change was made to all apps 2 days ago. I’ll diff them later as a lot of files are showing as changed.

Don’t know, i do not use truenas apps, i deploy my own compose stacks in an lxc…
