Hi,
Last month I upgraded from 24.04.1 to Dragonfish-24.04.2, and immediately upon reboot the UPS functionality completely broke, disastrously.
The first symptom was that my system was not coming back up. Upon investigation, I discovered that when TrueNAS began to boot, it would send a power off command to the UPS, shutting down my entire rack. So it couldn’t even boot. I had to disconnect the USB completely.
I got back to it today and I tried disabling the option for “Power Off UPS” so that wouldn’t happen. The second I plugged the USB back in, the UPS was powered off. This is clearly not right, and it was working fine for months prior to this. It broke as soon as I updated and is still broken.
Attached are my settings, I don’t really know how to debug it further as I really don’t want to keep hard rebooting my server and networking equipment.
Edit: I found this which seems to be the same issue? Server auto shuts down after upgrading to Truenas 24.04.2
