Virtual Machine - Ability to set the drive serial number (Disk / RAW File)

Problem/Justification

  • QEMU has the ability to manually set the drive serial number which can come in use when testing virtual machines that have software that rely on drive serial numbers.
  • If a user does not set a serial, it will be auto generated as normal, but can be edited later.

Impact

This will allow further improvement of the VM systems for very little cost.
