I have to let out some steam. Okay, I’m not that angry, but I am a little frustrated.

What happened to the forum yesterday?

I replied in some threads and in the chat. My posts went through and I even saw that they were published. Now they’re all gone.

I revisited some threads that I know I replied in, but my posts do not exist. The same is true for the chat.

Was this a known maintenance on the backend or was it unexpected? I’m concerned it could happen again.

Others might not notice if this happened to them, since after they submit their reply, everything appears normally. You would have to be 100% certain you submitted a post and then confirm it’s gone.

Is there any way to retrieve the lost posts?

Oh, you noticed that I had to reset time yesterday?

Most people would not have been able to detect my time manipulations… after all, they got reset too. In fact, how did you perceive my changing the time stream?

Were you in a “Ground Hog Day” or “Boss Level” loop?

In all seriousness, I did not notice any problems. As far as I can tell, the replies / posts I made went through, and some were even replied to.

Why write out my answer when there’s a chance it will have “never existed” the next day? :nerd_face:

I am 100% sure my replies “went through”, only to discover they no longer existed the next day.

One example is in the chat. I replied to @user000, but then had to do it all over again, since my messages were gone.

Another example is this thread. The post you see is what I had to type out from memory (again), since the original post was vanished.

I believe there was another post, but ironically, I cannot retrieve it since it’s gone. It’s no longer in my notifications either.

It seriously is like a chunk of time went missing.
