All disks in pool Degraded

My advice:

  1. Run a SMART Long test on ALL drives at the same time. The tests pass or fail based on the drive hardware not the computer.
  2. If a SMART Long test fails, run again to validate the failure.
  3. A second failure means the drive has failed.
  4. Before replacing any drives run a zpool status -v on the pool. Report the entire results. No need to hide any data.
  5. I assume there are errors so run zpool clear poolname where poolname is you pool name.
  6. Run a SCRUB zpool scrub poolname
  7. Repeat step 4 command, are there new errors?
  8. Yes = likely a system stability issue. But, repeat step 5 and 6 again to validate the failure.
  9. Regardless of anything, run memtest86 for at least 5 COMPLETE PASSES. This is one step.
  10. Next run a CPU stress test for 4 hours and verify it did not fail.

That is a lot to do and hours of testing, if not days.

Good luck.
