All files moved to ".~tmp~" Folder

Looking for a file I noticed there where only Directories in my Dataset but no files.
After a wile I found out all files were moved into a hidden “.~tmp~”-Folder on each directory level.

I assume that happened during a failed rsync or cloud backup task.

Now I’m looking for a way to get all the files back to their original folder.

Since there are nearly 60K folders manually move all files is not a solution. There is a cloud Backup, but since there are about 1TB of data, i would prefer a “local” solution

This is what dataset snapshots were built for. If you have a snapshot from before this anomaly, just roll back to that snapshot.
